tasting notes

aroma

Characteristic of Orange and Rooibos, with a distinct note of red fruit.

appearance

Characteristic orange-colored needles, mixed with orange zests and orange petals. Intense orange liquor.

taste

The mouth immediately perceives a remarkable balance between the naturally pronounced aromatics of rooibos and sweet orange. One does not cover the other, but they marry perfectly, allowing individual flavors to be clearly distinguished. The sweet and lively note of cranberry enters immediately afterwards, rounding off and balancing the aromas of rooibos and orange. Clean, persistent, and brilliant finish.

pairings

Excellent on its own, or to accompany afternoon sweets. A fantastic match for leavened desserts with candied fruits.

preparation

250ml of fresh water (filtered if necessary)
water temperature 90̊ C
infusion time, 3 minutes
no caffeine
may be consumed anytime, day or night

notes:

Rooibos is a non-tea, because it is not produced using actual tea leaves (Camellia Sinensis). It is a South African shrub that indigenous peoples have used as a relaxing drink for a long time. It is very rich in antioxidants and is naturally caffeine free.
