The word Chai simply means Tea, but around the world it has become synonymous with this deliciously spiced Indian beverage. Ours is a blend of black tea, clove, ginger pieces, coriander seeds, and cinnamon. For a traditional preparation brew a strong tea, add hot milk and sweeten with sugar or condensed milk.

Blend of broken black tea leaves (BOP) and spices. Intense deep red liquor.

taste

On the surface it could appear as an excessively rich and dense blend, but in fact the flavors come through clear and crisp. The spices do not create a cacophony of flavors, but coexist harmoniously with one another. Black tea gives the infusion body and a slight astringency, which invites perfectly the addition of milk and sugar during the preparation.

pairings

It goes well with chocolate desserts (and milk chocolate), samosas, butter croissants and cinnamon rolls, but it also lends itself to risky combinations with semi-hard cheeses and salted meats.
